Carlos Vazquez

Carlos Vazquez was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. He was raised in a close-knit, bilingual, Hispanic family who understands the importance of family, culture, and traditions. He passed on the importance of these values to his three children who have always been his motivation to achieve his goals.

He began his career in the medical field over eight years ago as a licensed practical nurse, which sparked his passion for healthcare. Since then, Carlos has worked through the various steps in nursing to include certified a licensed practical nurse, registered nurse, and now a nurse practitioner. His nursing experience has provided him with extensive knowledge in pediatrics, cardiology, and critical care.

Carlos obtained a bachelor’s degree in nursing at New Mexico State University, and has since completed his master’s degree in nursing with a focus in family medicine at Grand Canyon University.

His goal as a primary care provider is to focus on wellness, disease prevention, and early intervention to help maintain his patient’s wellbeing. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Carlos strives to provide quality, holistic health care while focusing on patients’ individual needs
