Venus Robles

Venus Robles was born and raised in Las Cruces, NM. She was raised in a close-knit, bilingual, Hispanic family who understands the importance of family, culture, and traditions. She passed on the importance of these values to her children who have always been her motivation to achieve her goals.

Ms. Robles began her career in the medical field over twenty years ago as a medical assistant, which sparked her passion for healthcare. Since then, Venus, as she is affectionately called, has worked through the various steps in nursing to include certified nursing assistant, licensed practical nurse, and associate degree nurse. Her nursing experience has provided her with extensive knowledge in pediatrics, cardiology, home health, hospice, and emergency/trauma.

Venus worked in the emergency room for several years. During that time, she cared for numerous patients who progressed in their disease process because they did not have access to a primary health care provider. As she began to understand how disparities in healthcare negatively impacted her community, she decided she wanted to help alleviate this issue by pursuing her education as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Venus completed her pediatric clinical rotation at Southwest Pediatric and Family Care, which provided her with extensive knowledge regarding the patient population in Deming, as well as the patients within the practice.
Currently, Venus is nationally board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, with a BSN from Walden University and MSN from Chamberlain University. She is committed to working with Southwest Pediatric and Family Care, a federally qualified Human Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) facility through the National Health Service Corps.

Venus’ goal as a primary care provider is to focus on wellness, disease prevention, and early intervention to help maintain her patient’s wellbeing.

She is bilingual in Spanish and English, and will see pediatric, adolescents, middle age, and older adult patients. When you meet Venus, you will quickly learn that she is a compassionate, empathic provider with a no-nonsense approach and an amazing listening ear. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Venus strives to provide quality, holistic health care while focusing on patients’ individual needs.
